I think he was gone that off-season.
Replaced by Cormac from West Coast, who was then sacked.
Replaced by The Weapon, who was then sacked and fell into an accounting job with no prior experience.
Somewhere along the line we landed Murphy from Hawthorn, who needs to be sacked.
The Pies have hit a decent sized hurdle. It was bound to happen at some stage this season, Apart from 2000 it is too difficult for any team to play and maintain such dominance throughout an entire season. The loss of young Daicos is a significant blow to their aspirations for this season and their finals campaign. There are bound to be a few more twists in the tail before this season is over.

I think Danny Chartres was the only fit player left, and it was known that two players would never see out the game. They wanted to play to send off their mates, but I’d rather they gave Danny the one game before he got turfed.

I have no doubt they won’t be going full throttle 100% in the coaches box on Friday night so Brisbane notch up a win at Marvel and virtually guarantee themselves a top 2 finish and nearly a pass into the GF with two Gabba finals (likely the QF and PF). They (Pies) are already down a number of key players.
The Pies will finish 1st or 2nd either way and would be licking their lips at playing Brisbane at the MCG in the GF with their horrific record there.
Short term pain = long term gain.
You can still guarantee in the final round they will be back to going all out to beat us to hit the finals in good form.
