Season 2023 - Fark Carlton

Some of these managers offer fairly broad services.

Yeah.
But even Connors wouldn’t be tracking an individuals bank account for potential scams.
I don’t know anyone who would except for the actual Bank Institution with all your money.

If anything…
Weitering should have an ING account and transfer the bulk of his savings there and only bring it back when you need it.

I just meant that if they had access to financial and investment advisory services they might have a contact they would reach out to if they were having banking issues. Not that they would have necessarily have someone with day-to-day control of their accounts.

Ultimately I guess it’s up to the player to take the initiative and identify that something may be amiss.

I thought Carlton players just dealt in cash and bullshit jobs for spouses at Visy?

Fark Carlton.

Harder to lose a brown paper bag though

This Friday night has Brisbane Away game stink performance written all over it.

Carlton will win this game and if they were offering any decent odds, i’d be on it.

Hopefully i’m wrong.

I think you’re wrong. The depth of the Carlton list will get found out again.

Senators are calling for the PwC CEO to stand down.

But this is misguided.

The person who was CEO of PwC while this whole thing went down was none other than the fark carlton chairman Luke Sayers.

And Paul Brasher was probably there for some of the time.

But I agree with the sentiment. PWC must be banned from all government consulting. And while they’re there, get rid of McKinsey too.

I’m so glad this isn’t true, but they could stomp on our parade to give them some joy for the year

OT

But i reckon the PwC stuff is kind of expected.

To be asked to develop and or write up/implement tax reform for a government when the government should know that same business provides advice to companies on how to reduce/avoid paying tax?

The issue imho isnt that it happened, its that it happened so soon.

The work the government had done should always have been done by salaried public servants. Ie direct employees.

If anything is core to a businesses operations you don’t outsource that out, same goes for government.

Its bad for PwC, but really its a simple and expensive wakeup call to government.

Doesnt surprise me its under this last Liberal government (turnbull/abbott/morrison). History will regard as useless and expensive.

So look blitz

I don’t really like the F bomb repeatedly, the cursing is driving my inner monologue nuts. I can tolerate your FCing, but i loathe to type it often.

I need a more palatable yet suitably derogatory term for our old rivals thats engaging.

Suggestions?

It shouldn’t be, he signed a NDA, the guy should be in jail for doing what he did.

The nicest one I can think of is ‘screw’ as in Screw Carlton.

I prefer the antonym though of ‘abstain Carlton’.

Its FarkCarlton. Thats it. There is no other term

Can’t believe i’m saying this, and obviously I want us to win, but I hope McKay gets in form after the bye and the Blues get their act together because it must be getting hard on their fans now and they’re only human.
