I’m sure the AFL will tick this off, as well as the numerous properties sold for well below market price in new housing estates and family members working at Cotton On.

The only way anything comes of this is if all 17 other clubs kick up a stink.

I suspect a subset of those 17 other clubs, and that subset may be all 17, have similar questionable deals going on so will stay quiet out of self-interest.

So, yeah, nothing will come of this.

Come on, you know Geelong can do no wrong. But I agree with you.

Geelong draftee Keighton Matofai-Forbes under investigation for allegedly assaulting a woman

Keighton Matofai-Forbes, who was drafted by Geelong with pick 69, is under investigation.
New Geelong player Keighton Matofai-Forbes is under investigation after an alleged incident between himself and a woman at a concert in Melbourne.

The Herald Sun has reported that the 18-year-old, who Geelong drafted this year with pick 69, was approached by a woman at Australian DJ Dom Dolla’s gig at Flemington Racecourse on the weekend.

Matofai-Forbes has been accused of assaulting the woman during an alleged altercation.

The AFL’s integrity unit is aware of the matter.

Matofai-Forbes represented Victoria Metro during the under-18s championships and impressed scouts with 11 goals from seven games with the Western Jets.

After being drafted by the Cats, Matofai-Forbes described himself as a “powerful player".

“I would describe myself as a bit of a powerful player, a power athlete and that is where most of my strengths lie,” he said.

“Like some of the other boys I am very aerobically based, can run all day.

“I can get up in the air and can move pretty quick, that is my strength.”

Fellow Geelong player Tanner Bruhn was questioned about an alleged sexual assault at a night club in October as a witness.

Is there any reason why the same few facts are thrown out multiple times in such articles? Apart from getting word counts up of course.

Because the bossman probably doesn’t allow an article to be “Matofai-Frobes has been accused of assaulting a woman at a festival /end”

Vale Michael Turner.

He was my class teacher in grade 1 and then PE teacher for a number of years. Was fantastic to me as at the time my younger sister was in the royal children’s hospital with terminal cancer and he arranged for Essendon players such as Frank Dunnell to attend my school.

He also gave our family, who had little $ at the time, tickets to watch the Bombers play the Cats in Geelong a number of times.

He also allowed us to watch Alien in the class room as a 6 year old and I didn’t have a good nights sleep in 5 years.

Was a great player to watch and played a big part in Geelongs success in 2007 to 2011

Mitch Cleary saying that Cats had a meeting with Matt Rowell over the off-season.

Surely GC throw in a first.

Jeebus.
We won’t beat them for another 10 years with that unit in their side.

Take him out of both '24 clashes against GC, and we win both games comfortably.

Reckon we would have beaten Geelong if Dangerfeild stayed banned like he was suppsose to

I thought they couldn’t do that?

Well, they did apparently

Fark I hate Geelong and their never ending paper bag deals, free farm land and ridiculous cotton on endorsements that allows them to get A grade talent for peanuts

Imagine Gold Coast are cash strapped they will
Probably send a a second rounder along with him to the cats to make the deal fair.

Rowell and a first rounder for a future fourth or GTFO.

He only had 22 disposals, 1 clearance, and kicked 0.0
He had no influence in that game.

The umps killed off any chance we had in that 3rd qtr.
Fair dinkum, it’s just about the worst 15 min patch of poor calls against 1 side I’ve ever seen.

Geelong probably would have won anyway but still, we were right there throwing punches in the 3rd qtr.
The chumps killed us though !
