I have said enough on this issue, my views are well known. This was a thug act, and at the time it happened l predicted that the hit would end Brayshaw’s career. I take no pleasure in being right in this prediction.

Just watching the news and that Maynard bump again. He so should have got suspended. Initially went the smother then braced for contact and turned his body to bump. How did he ever get off? He could have just come down with his arms and hands and fended off Brayshaw. He chose to bump and got him high.

The AFL wanted a Collingwood v Carlton GF, and would do just about anything to get it. Any player that doesn’t play for those teams would have got weeks.
