Number 7 jokes aside, Fyfe was my favourite non-Essendon player to watch. He was, and remains, the most Hird-like player since James.
An amazing player at his peak, but injuries robbed him of consistency. Incredibly tough, very skilled and probably Freo’s best player of all time. Would have loved to see him get one over the Hawks in 2013.
