Season 2025 - Geelong

My bet is there would be a strong correlation between profile and drug habit.

No wonder Selwood’s contract didn’t really costa lot to Geelong.

Jesus the AFL doesn’t even bother hiding how much of a boys club it is. What an absolute rort.

It was always destined to ‘go away’. The AFaiL and their political connections need the Cats and their Park squeaky clean.

That rug must very lumpy by now, all that dirt.

Stuff like this, convinces me that there are no limits to what the AFL will do

No doubt in my mind, they fix games through umpiring and the tribunal to get the results they want

No, because that would make their corporate partners overlords at Sportsbet unhappy.

They’re absolutely corrupt, but they won’t do anything to upset betting agencies.

And probably WorkSafe Victoria.

Tanner Bruhn’s story not so quiet anymore, huh…

All over Twotter, complete with MCV screenshots…

If he ever gets back to playing, there’ll be some ugly (and, allegedly, well deserved) banter heading his way from over the fence…

The AFL has a clear issue with abuse towards women.

Just look at the way the media continues to engage Ben cousins.

The AFL should cease promoting any violence against women campaigns and instead use that time to reflect on its own conduct and genuinely seek women’s opinions on what it needs to do to expunge itself of these issues.

It will be interesting to see the AFL’s response to this. They are desperately trying to be seen as pro woman but are also pro Geelong. This will be a schitzophrenic’s nightmare

Can you post a link or a screen shot? Just did some googling and can’t find anything.

Because there isn’t.

And they do.

Some of Bruhn’s allegations seem to paint Tarry Thomas as a top bloke in comparison :flushed:
Footy may be the least of his worries unless the prison has a team

As I understand it, under the AFL player contract a player convicted of a criminal offence must be delisted. Thats why the AFL Disaster Prevention Squad comes in to try and talk the prosecutors out of criminal charges, support the player with the best QC if that doesn’t work. Usually the plea that it will ruin the players life helps to get the charge downgraded .
Mind you, they might have softened the player contract conditions since I saw a copy of the actual contract
