I don’t watch many Worst Coast games, so I’ve only seen Reid play 3-4 times but he seems vastly overrated for the discourse around him.
That deal would be insanity if true, which I strongly doubt.

would be hilarious if NWM won them all these games, pushing them down the draft order, only to leave that year.
Throwing around money like that, you can see how it would put the current Saints players noses out of joint. Especially NWM. His management has every right to say to the club that if this is what you’re offering TDK and Reid, NWM is a superior player to those two so we want $2.5M a year. To throw those sums of money around at a time when your #1 priority should be re-signing your best player, I think St.Kilda may have shot themselves in the foot big time.
They’ve done it again. Won 3, and most likely 4, games on the spin and all it’s done is ruin their draft position. They won’t finish higher than 11th, but they’re in no-man’s land yet again. At least with us this year we are looking like finally bottoming out and rebuilding.

He’s being played out of position. He’s always looked lost when being used primarily as a forward.
Now, it may just be that he has missed a lot of footy, and he is being nursed back into AFL level by playing forward. But all his best footy at AFL level (and it has been pretty good) is when he has been used as a midfielder.
I have maintained that he would take a 2 years contract from the outset. 2-3 years and then head home once the Adelaide sides have their draft capital sorted. Port especially will be loaded with good first round picks I’d imagine
