Is it rude or insensitive to Hunter’s family? Or does it correctly point out the failed leadership at West Coast during those years?

It definitely has triggered WCE supporters. But it talks about the culture of the Eagles at the time, that whilst Ben Cousins seemingly has managed to resurrect his life, others have not been so fortunate and still to this day some players from that squad have been in trouble with the law. Indirectly points the finger at Nisbett and Worsfold for refusing to dig deeper into the problems for fear of what they would find. Nothing that hasn’t been written before, but the accusation is that this article is opportunistic and has been published at the traumatic time.
