Good on him for doing this, and ■■■■ the AFL and its culture of homophobia.
I hope one day this is just normalised and we can look back on what is a disgraceful period for this league on this issue.

Homophobia is institutionalised.
Woke people might dance around it, but whilst you allow people to hide behind it with religious beliefs it isn’t ever going away.
They will always find refuge in religion.
why society tolerates homophobic beliefs in religion but not racist ones is beyond me.
It’s very sad.
Love is love and people are just the way they are. Let us all be ourselves.
The world should have no room for hate.
At least until then we just have bigoted bill.

FFS, that’s now stuck in my head for the rest of today.
Or, more likely $2 mill a year made him stay with the expectation he will get a monster deal in 2 years time from everyone.
He will have to lift his game substantially if he wants to get anywhere near a repeat deal on his next contract. On what we have seen so far, is he even worth half that much? Not from what l have seen, which admittedly isn’t very much, but he doesn’t fill me with awe of a generational type.
