Season 2025 - Western Bulldogs

Such a waste of Talent. Somethings gone very wrong there.

Bevo is not an easy coach, JUH wants to just “have fun”. The two do not mix well.

Sounds like a FRAAAAANKLIN multi strike to me

For a club to want to dump a player so early in the season, JUH must be a massive headache behind the scenes and completely unprofessional off field. There would be tonnes of stuff that haven’t come out yet

If a player is fit and is refusing to train or be a professional, clubs should be allowed to fine them

At this rate we will get him for a pick in the 60’s with the Dogs paying half his wage

How long until a certain poster comes in with the WSPHU ?

Nah. Geelong will get him along with Dogs’ first. They’ll probably have to throw Darcy in as steak knives.

They kicked Stringer out and demanded overs for him.

We don’t have one, but could do a future third rounder.

only 2 firsts and 2 seconds
Ess R3 (Brisbane)
Ess R4 (St Kilda)

Any other list manager apart from Dodo and he would have been free for us.
That was just pure hatred and ego between the two list managers

Not surprised but still surprised he described the future of one of his club’s players being in the hands of the AFL and none of the intrepid football journalists could summon the courage to ask the bleedingly obvious follow-up “why is the future of a bulldogs player in the hands of the AFL?” He wouldn’t give a real answer, but surely you have to ask.

There is no way we will take him on board given the collective push at EFC for training standards / professionalism / living an AFL lifestyle. And in moving on those who don’t do that.

Certainly not as it is right now anyway

He’d have to return to Dogs, knuckle down and fire for 2nd half of season, not be out partying, on it, and being a try hard gangster!

Needs to get it together quick smart

Does his contract being torn up be the thing that gets the penny to drop.

Didn’t 3AW and Brad Hardie say that WB want to stop paying him and delist him but AFL won’t let them? I posted the interview with hardie in the Geelong thread.

That, since all the contracts are technically with the AFL, and/or if he has multiple multiple strikes.

Sure, but there’s a difference between a pundit relaying what he’s heard and the head coach saying the situation is with the AFL. I suspect if it was happening at Essendon, people would be after something more concrete than what Matthew Lloyd heard.

That would explain the drug problem

Bulldogs racism scandal in 3, 2….

I suspect the dogs have floated the possibility that, given his widely publicised behaviour and the level of talk on the rumour mill, he may be at serious risk of spiralling if they put him on the market and no one takes the risk. He could be out altogether by the end of the year and he’s clearly not behaving rationally. The dogs probably want the AFL to wear the responsibility for making sure he gets as much help as he can, because his relationship with the dogs is clearly cooked and nobody wants to see him do any more harm to himself than he already is.

I reckon it’s just a basic JUH wants out of the dogs ASAP, the dogs want JUH off their hands ASAP, so they are asking the AFL how it can best be done before seasons end.

Otherwise it’s just a lingering distraction across the season.

make him eligible for the mid season draft.
quickly becomes another clubs problem.
