I’d say the biggest issue would be money. Do they have to continue paying him when he’s clearly checked out to a point where the club doesn’t even know whether he will show up for training? Can they simply tell him to stay away from the club? I’d do that. Just ban him from entering the club, and then get rid of him at season’s end.
There’d be a whole host of legal stuff to do with contracts, CBAs etc.
AFL would be best positioned to advise, so that’s what they are seeking.
He never, ever wanted to be at the Bulldogs.
Need Warrnamboolbomber’s input before forming my own opinion
spotted drinking mai tais with dodoro at a south melbourne cafe
Geelong bigfooty poster said that Cats originally had Ugle-Hagan in their NGA academy and had worked with him before the AFL Changed the zones and he ended up with the dogs.
we should make him VC
not what happened, warrnambool was never in geelong’s zone and he was never in their academy
Was he held at gunpoint when he has re-signed there?
We should petition tha AFL to allow the Dogs to terminate his contract with immediate effect, then pick him up in the MSD.
Money speaks big words. How did that turn out for them?
His best bet is going up to Sydney or Brisbane and getting out of the Melbourne footy fishbowl. And yes, Geelong allows you to do that as well, if you move there but some players still have lived in Melbourne and played for the Cats. Playing for a Collingwood or Essendon would be the absolute worst move possible. If he’s struggled with the limelight/attention playing at the Dogs, it will be 10 times worse with us or the Pies…
No thanks Cap!
Culture Killer - no more of them plz
After seeing that Bevo presser I’m 100% certain that JUH has done a Franklin
Sam Darcy emerging as the best young tall forward in a long long time makes any decision the Dogs make regarding JUH so much easier. Yeah it’d be disappointing but the way footy is played now, Darcy and Naughton is all you need up forward as far as aerial presence. I’m not sure jamming Jamarra in there actually makes them a better team.
geelong town itself would be the worst place he could go, he’d be in an even smaller fishbowl that is footy mad, and the ability to get in trouble down there is just as bad.
It works down there for country lads who like being on farms. if you like getting out on the town and ■■■■ and drugs, it’s the abolue worst place to go
Ah, think again
unless you mean it’s the best place to go for drugs, i’m not sure i follow
well it doesn’t have a reputation for being free of them that’s for sure
