Police allege they discovered a crystalline substance in a plastic baggie and a rolled $100 bill on Dylan Moore after arresting the Hawthorn player and his teammate Connor Macdonald for trespassing on a scissor lift.

Exclusive: Arizona police allege Hawthorn player Dylan Moore was in possession of a small bag containing a crystalline substance and a rolled $100 bill when he was busted joy riding on a scissor lift during a boozy night out in the US.
Moore and teammate Connor Macdonald were arrested and charged with criminal trespass after allegedly climbing onto a scissor lift in a Phoenix parking lot during a drunken night out while in town for a training camp in November.
Officers from the Scottsdale Police Department allege Moore and Macdonald were being cheered on by a group of males who were filming and encouraging their antics as the property owner pleaded with them to get down. It’s unclear whether the men were fellow teammates travelling with the pair.

“As the two males were standing on the platform, another group of males were cheering them on filming them, sending them cheers of encouragement,” the police report states.
“I walked underneath the boom lift and told the males they needed to get off of the platform. “They responded to me asking if they had done something wrong.”
The officer said he repeatedly told the pair to get down and reported the owner had been asking them to get off the equipment for approximately 10 minutes.
“The males then told me they didn’t know how to get down so I told them they could get down the same way that they got up there,” the officer wrote.
The Scottsdale PD report said as officers were arresting Moore, they confiscated a number of items.
“As I was pulling a couple of items out of his pocket, a small plastic baggie with a small amount of a crystalline substance fell out of his pocket and landed on the sidewalk,” the arresting officer wrote.
“I picked it up and asked what that was and Dylan immediately responded that (it) wasn’t his.
“I then searched his pocket again (and) located a rolled up $100 bill with a crystalline residue inside of it as well.”

Officers from the Scottsdale Police Department charged the former vice-captain with possessing drug paraphernalia but a city prosecutor ultimately opted to drop the charge.
Questions have been sent to the Scottsdale prosecution office inquiring if the substance was tested and why the charge was dropped.
Asked by 7News to expand on the details of the drug paraphernalia charge in an interview earlier this week, Moore refused to comment, saying: “no, that charge has been dismissed”.
Scottsdale PD said the pair were about 2.5m in the air when officers patrolling the area on bicycles spotted them.
The remaining trespass charge is classified as a class three misdemeanour, the least serious offence of its kind, and carries maximum penalties of up to 30 days in jail, a $500 fine or one year of probation.
Court files suggest the pair are likely to receive a minimal fine in the order of about $250.
Alternatively, the pair could be dealt with through a deferred prosecution process by which defendants take part in diversion programs that can often allow offenders to avoid conviction or could see charges discontinued altogether.
Their cases are currently listed for separate sentencing dates in July and August.

Couldn’t help noticing a lot of young Hawthorn supporters (teenagers and young adults) last night wearing scarves with one and two year member patches.
Every club has its share of bandwagoners, but Hawthorn seems to be one of the biggest offenders.
If you’re picking a club for the first time, why would you choose any of the loser clubs?
Footy is supposed to be fun.

looks like Moore was lucky the drug charge got dropped, seeing they pulled a bag of coke out of his pocket in the police stop.
