He would have to know the way he left West Coast makes him a slim probability of getting any senior coaching roles from here.

I’m not sure why Adam Simpson thinks he’ll get an easy run at any coaching job. Yeah he won a flag but it’s not like he will ever be remembered as a coaching great or anything. I would actually be surprised if he ever gets another coaching gig again.

Agreed. And I hope he gets it if he’s intending to have a go.. He’s out there applying left right and centre, working as assistant at a successful club and being very honest and up front.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but Norf could do a lot worse than appointing Buckley.

Personally I’d would have been happy if he coached us. Certainly didn’t leave Collingwood in a bad spot when he left.

My North Melbourne is supporting a mate is genuinely concerned at what’s happening there. He was even more upset once Longmire was announced to Essendon.
Seems to think that they are sitting on their hands and does not have any confidence in the leadership that is there making decisions.

Larkey on channel 7 at rhe clubs best and fairest praising the club for being brave and courageous for making the decision on Clarkson. Said he backs the club totally.
