Juve docked 10 points just before kickoff today
It has totally shook me to my core. Not only am I a Madridista but have close personal ties to Valencia. Horrific, calculated, racist abuse beyond belief. I have spent today in a daze wondering if I know folks in the crowd who did this, or worse, who are related to my extended family.
There is literally just one way to stop it. Starve these racist arseholes of the one thing they care about. Their team. Their sport. Ban ALL supporters for a few games and dock their team some points. If anyone sat silently while an entire section made monkey noises and loudly called Vini a monkey then they ARE all complicit.
This is a disaster for La Liga that has been years in the making. Good on Vini for saying “no more”.

players leaving countries with known racist proclivities to other nations, will see government bodies stamp down on it.
ie all the players of colour leaving spain for england, for example, will see drastic social change.

The issue in Spain sadly is that folks don’t even consider stuff like this racist. They think they are just winding the player up. It is shocking ignorance at a societal level.
