My first actual gf was 24 when I was 18. Good times

I started up a new relationship after a 5 year hiatus and my teenage daughters have cracked it. My son and her 3 adult sons don’t give a ■■■■■ and seem pleased for us. Had to ask a few friends as to their experiences with daughters and it seems to be the norm that teenage daughters hate the new gf of the father. She’s been nice to them but it’s a pain in the butt putting up with their crap. Apparently they grow out of it… like to know when.

Well since this is the thread for it…
l have been slowly moving towards a decision, woman wise. There are 3 that l am interested, they are all high quality girls. Fortunately they are all in different countries. One is based here. She was a trainee of mine last June. l think she got a bit ■■■■■■ with me, when l had to move up here. Then just before Christmas l found out she is not only here, but is actually working downstairs in another branch of the same company. She has got a bit of emotional baggage she is carrying from a previous marriage. Got a wonderful 5 year old son, but is a bit estranged from him.
There is one girl from Bangkok, l took to Sumatra a couple of years ago. She was also married, to a local guy, no kids. Both of them between 35 - 40. No emotional issues, wants to travel more. have known her about 2 years, but haven’t seen her for more than 18 months.
Vietnam. A woman with plenty of issues, including a serious health problem. Currently looking after 4 kids, 2 of them are her own, 2 abandoned by her brother who has since remarried. This is only the tip of an iceberg, lots of other issues. l first met her about 13 years ago. She is a bit younger. lf l get involved with her, it means l take on an instant family, the whole family, l will be adopted.

l was invited out for dinner last night, 7 people in all, they all work downstairs, in another company, but related to the one l am in, something about being under the same umbrella. It turns out one of the lasses is off to California next month, and wants me to help her improve her English before she goes. So, it will be informal. Then she asks me to find her a foreign boyfriend. She is 28, and tells me she has never had a boyfriend. l found it hard to believe at the time, as she is pretty damn cute, sweet and smart. Then the girl sitting on my right chimes in and asks me to find her a boyfriend as well. She is pretty cute as well, but not as cute as the first. l told them l would see what l could do, but told them not to hold their breath waiting. Usually it is the parents who do the match making and arrange marriages etc.
Over the years though, l have had a hand in putting about 10 couple together. So l do have some record of success in this area. The difference between the past experiences and the current situation is, l didn’t set out to put couple together, l just helped facilitate the first meetings. l actually introduced Randy Momola, he of Ducati F1 motorbike acclaim, to the girl he married, true story. That was at the after race party for the first bike GP on Philip Island, true story. Actually he would have introduced himself, if l hadn’t been there, so no real claim there. This is different though. l am unsure how to proceed, and l probably won’t try to introduce the girls to anyone, but it is a sign of trust that they even asked in the first place.
