The issue i have at the moment is trying to find a positive out of this year so far, i really try to be a silver lining type of person but this is tough.
Nick Martin - great pick up
Hobbs - looked good in his first game, why pick him to play him in the forward line.
Wright - his first four weeks of form.
Thatās about it, this sucks, really had my hopes up after last year, hope Rutten smashes them on the park.
Hawthorn had a terrible performance last week, got told to bring the mouthguards through the week, beat the team that destroyed us.

I can claim people show up to essendon football club to do their job and collect pay cheques.

Here is a club that doesnāt have away reserved seating and if you are an AFL Member you donāt get the josh Mahoney vids yet they are happy to take the percentage of money from our total afl membership fee.

With respect, I find culture just seems to materialise after you start winning.
The playing group does have talent but not sure there is anyone who is getting the best out of them. Rance did wonders to our defence, turned the group into timid donkeys, and I reckon those two highly lauded assistants in Cara and Gia are not doing their future prospects much good.
Remember past Bomber captains who led by example, Jobe, Lloyd, Hird, Thompson, Timmy, and about the best TD.
