“Bars”
So Patrick Bombers was selling gear to Bomber from a local business?
But Patrick is Ninos alter ego, so really it was…
Yeah true, in some games. Maybe I’m wrong but there weren’t any where it started that way like the cats and others over the last few years.
But by the end of the season there was a real growth throughout that year.
Nino pls
David King summed up our failures beautifully. Love him or hate him. He is correct!
I think the biggest challenge with following this club is I actually don’t trust any leaders within it. Not one. I don’t trust Brasher or Campbell, I don’t trust Rutten, Mahoney, Heppell, Dodoro, the fitness bloke. I don’t trust one key person at the club. I can’t trust anyone is going to make the right decisions that are needed to be made to get us out of this mess. Talk about a ■■■■■■■ indictment.
HR, CEO, and ultimately the board, allowed that to happen. If you don’t have proper process procedures and policy you are doomed to fail. They’re there for a reason.
Surely someone senior was there at the time who could provide guidance and oversight on matters of risk and governance…
Seriously Scorpio, they didn’t allow it to happen.
It happened because Dank is a scoundrel and scammed everyone.
Allan Jeans
that they let it happen under their watch underlines their absolute negligence or incompetence and as such should be nowhere near this club.
burn the board start again
Of course they allowed it to happen. Who was supervising him? They were all too busy wandering in and out as though he was their own personal pharmacist. The staff were all getting supplements from him. No supervision, no accountability. No process. No corporate governance.
FFS it didn’t just happen. It was allowed to happen. Then one of the guys who was wandering in and out getting supplements gets promoted to CEO. What does that say to you.
.
Sounds fair, except of course that none of the farking substances found were illegal.
After seeing the footage of Shiel and Draper, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were some players ■■■■■■ off.
Kind of feel for our back 6 (which King highlighted). They are being left to it without a lot of support from their team mates.
Wondering if it’s linked to Ridley’s drop in form. And Hind. Maybe a bit fed up?
Apologies for speculating but there’s obviously a lot more happening behind the scenes here.
I haven’t even heard about the players “circling up” and having “honest discussions with each other” yet.
The back six are been shat from a great height by the midfield in particular.
Dr Switkowski noted the failures of governance in the summary of his report released on the EFC website.
OK, like McLaghlan maybe Covid has streched Mr Brasher’s Board tenure for a few years when that might not otherwise have happened, but at what point do you say, sorry, you were one of the leaders of the only Club in League history to be booted out of the finals, and you’ve had plenty of time now to act out of a desire to make things right, but if you cannot see it is time to move on and give the next generation of Club leaders an unimpeded run, then you need to be pushed out.
So Heppel. Pretty clear he hasn’t been a great onfeild leader for awhile but we keep hearing he’s great off field. But is he, like really?
More rumours of offfield discontent and cliques. Same thing happened a few years back. Saga players not wanting to get dropped etc.
Has the leadership group ever dropped anyone? David king was right we allways drop the 22nd person on the list. It’s not all the coaches, the leadership group should be pulling players in line and dropping them too. I suspect senior players get in the clique and thus untouched.
Hepp your not doing much on field, start setting some actual standards off field. If that means crossing your mates, grow some balls and do it.
He wouldnt be crossing any of them.
They all deserve to be dropped.
Wheres the rumours of off field discontent?
