losers breed losers

from the top, to guys like zaka, belly, heppell, Hurley, smith, shiel, etc etc

none of those guys know what it takes to be successful.

none. we are a loser club with losers running the joint

Donā€™t think that will matter.

They were called the easiest team to play against during the week and then dished that up.

Parish, McGrath, Shiel, Draper.

Get these blokes in the bin. Iā€™m sick to death of midfielders who refuse to defend.

I watched Parish walking back, while Freo were smashing us in the centre clearances. I donā€™t care how many AAā€™s he has. Drop him.

Thereā€™s something at the club causing these repeat performances.
ā– ā– ā– ā–  bothering to find out who/what it is, sack them all and start fresh

Our midfield just get outbodied, outworked and basically bullied far too often.

Itā€™s becuase the majority of the players donā€™t want success bad enough and arenā€™t prepared to work hard enough off the field to reap the rewards on the field.

Look at our team, how many of them are still pretty skinny, even after being in the system for long enough. No wonder we can never stick a tackle, opposition just brush them off with ease

Heppell- skinny
Redman- no real upper body size to him at all. He has been in the system long enough
Ridley- very little upper body size to him
Guelfi- he will give his all, Needs more size
Parish- been in the afl system for a long time, and still looks small
Ham

Then you have guys who clearly put in the work in the gym, and it shows. They are able to brush off tackles and still get a handball off.

Waterman
Snelling
Perkins- for someone only 2 ears into his career, he has really put in the hard work off the field.
Shiel
Draper- he has a lot of size to him, just needs to use it
Laverde
Wright
Merrett
Stringer- no matter what you think of his fitness,he is very strong

when you canā€™t drop a senior player after a 4 possie game and he doesnā€™t play vfl cos ā€œheā€™s sore and needs a restā€ but is still picked as a sub that should say it all about what is actually going on at the club.

they donā€™t care about success. they are a bunch of pretenders happy to be afl footballers who get paid handsomly to simply be.

the fact that dyson heppell is lauded over as a ā€œgreat leaderā€ through one of the darkest and least success periods in the clubs says it all to me, that we have such low expectations for success, that we are the epitomy of a ā€œparticipation awardā€ club.

The thing is, Watson was the leader through the dark times. Heppell has pretty much been able to lead in ā€œclear airā€. Iā€™m really hoping he does the right thing soon

But who does he give it to??

McGrath is not a captain, and never will be.

Do you think Merrett is right for the job??

Bring in Clarko and Hodge and get Lewis if he is interested

Give it to one of the kids. Young leaders rock.
