Not difficult stuff.

Why anyone would have any confidence with this Board is beyond me.

They have shown they know nothing about what the club needs and stumble from one disaster to another.

It appears the only thing they can hang onto now is the appointment of Scott, who quite frankly is being treated like he is the Messiah by some. Let’s hope he is, but if he fails, which, despite the rapture of some, is not out of the question, then there will be no more hiding from the entire Board fiasco.

Making Carlton mamangement look good.

We tried just about everything else. The problem is, we are now so off centre I don’t know if we are capable with the people there, to turn back the switch on again.

Soon enter the AFL, to take control. OMG we need to completely rebuild. This is worse than the supplements saga and yet similar. The Essendon haters rubbing their hands together with glee. Brad Scott must be wondering what the hell he has got himself into!

If only fire retardant rather than petrol had been used on the fire! Call in the AFL we’re cooked.

There are people absolutely getting their rocks off on Essendon’s demise.
Particularly long-time friends of mine, (I thought they were until now) who follow Carlton. Honestly, it was all I could do to hold my temper and my ground. Up until then, I had no idea how this had got to me.

What I felt like doing was head butting them, fortunately I didn’t. Now I’m glad I didn’t but I am wondering how this is affecting every body? I sincerely thank BB for being for there for every one of us.

Because what is happening at Essendon is not going to be an easy fix nor is it going to be something that can be fixed in five minutes.

It’ll turn around eventually, we’ve been laughing at fcfc for years, even this year. Personally I’m one of those supporters who lost a big chunk of emotional investment in our club and footy through and after the saga, hell I didn’t watch any footy at all really through 16 and 17 so people having a crack at me for supporting Essendon doesn’t really affect me as it once would have. But it will turn, hang in there.

I was getting some stick yesterday at golf…. my reply was its funny how the AFL guys that probably stressed a AFL footballers partner so much she had a mis-carriage was now old news and strange that the media was now focussed on what is pretty much a nothing story.

They thought about this bit of info, nodded their heads and didn’t say another word

Nobody gives me sh*t. Because nobody is as savage & brutally honest about the sort of basketcase this club is, as much as me.

You need to own how sh*t this club is. It is real.

In fact I think most of my friends who are opposition supporters, just see Essendon as a low hanging fruit anyway. A club that’s Not worth the time or energy.

I reckon the club will have their external consultants re-write their recommendations of the review to make sure they align with the strengths of the next CEO hire.

It is fixed as soon as the season starts next year and we win two game sin a row. The media is just sucking everyone in to make more money.

Maybe the bus is actually owned by a bloke called Christian.

Stick about what?
What’s the big deal?
We are allowed to criticise stuff ups by our Board. Every club has gone through the same with infighting
What we haven’t gone through are accusations of racism and bullying of our players or bad off field behaviour of our players.
Barham stuffed up a CEO appointment and it got sorted. We dodged a bullet with Thorburn , who was condemned by a Royal Commission and who Heads up an organisation with values of intolerance of other values and condemns them.
Our Board has been shown up for setting up sham processes.
How do other clubs go about appointments? Do the supporters have any idea? At least we now know how it has been done.
We now know that the corporate suits have been running the show at the expense of those with football knowledge and a passionate commitment for Essendon.
What’s it like at your club, do you know how it’s run and how decisions have been made?
At EFC, supporters now have some transparency

Be fair though, we gave it to them when they missed the 8. Then we piled on norf over clakko and gave the hawks a bit of a razz as well.
But our board love us being on the front pages so that you, me and all the rest cop it back . By the truckload.

Melbourne has 2 players named Christian. So Christians fighting for the Demons!

Essendon Football Club is like a game of ‘Whack A Mole’ at the moment and Dave Barham has wandered in with his mallet. He is doing his best to knock out the detritus that has festered in this club for 20 years and while he is hitting some of the moles, he also misses a few.

Let him finish the game as I am sure he’ll eventually knock out all the moles and we can finally move on as a club.

Hope it can stay in service long enough to get them home
