Once the clueless dolts at this empty husk of a club re-signed Jye Fkg Menzie, in mid July mind you, then all bets are off. You can’t predict ANYTHING after that’s been done.

Someone could tell me we extended Weid’s contract and I’d believe it.

Has this been shared anywhere on blitz yet?

It’s clearly over the top but reminiscent of Carlton fans last year before they kicked on and “got real” with themselves.

Love to know how players feel about being booed and berated off the pitch, knowing that supporters are angry, upset, hurting at the miserable effort put in against the Saints?

Love to know how players feel about pi55ing away yet another season of promise?

Where’s the farken desperation with so much on the line? Showing “effort and intent” is a bare minimum expected of every player in the comp.

The overwhelming evidence says the players just don’t care. They’ve given up, they’re broken. A lot of supporters have stopped caring too, for their own mental health.

@Aceman is often advocating for supporters to not attend games in protest. Wish, we did that this week not as a statement against the coach but the players and their pathetic efforts / blatant disregard for the club’s endeavours in providing the best environment to excel. Selfish, entitled ……

Rohan Connelly has gone whack whack whack on 3AW.

Richo: you’re not telling me Essendon supporters are coming for Brad Scott?

Rohan: well they’re stupid if they are, considering how poor the list is…. And what he’s been able to achieve with that list this year.

I saw/heard a snippet about him commenting about ginni and what process he specifically went through in courting him.

spoke about footy IQ, interesting spoke about his ability to withstand pressure and be a leader, mostly in part to being the poster boy and on the back page of newspapers copping it from all and sundry, then mentioned if he had a work rate to improve they were definitely going after him, which he did.

Can you imagine anyone at this club even remotely thinking any of those things of ginni ?

Someone else said it, we don’t have an abundance (outside a couple of the coaches) who can set a good example about what an actual successful environment is, and we have hurley and stants in token positions as some form of “development”.

They back in their youngsters and surround them with experience, but only if they are playing well.

Total opposite approach this club takes, they are youngster adverse, even down to the supporter base.

Funny nino and co would constantly crap on about, oh you can’t just play all youngsters, they’ll get belted all the time and blah blah.
and now you watch the hawks rebuild and sailing past us at a rate of knots doing that approach.

Thanks mate

Very true.

Unacceptable behaviour. Not gonna lie though, I was more tolerant than I care to admit.

Rohan: the leadership at the club is terrible, aside from Merrett. McGrath, the Vice Captain, is a perfect example. Langford. Redman. Shiel.

Rohan: The List Management is a debacle. What exactly is Adrian Dodoro’s new job?

his List management decisions have caused all the problems we see today. The Development programs haven’t been much better.

bloke is currently on track to achieve less than last year so great call that one

What did Dodoro say?

Freo is my second club.

They actually have a great track record in doing the right thing.

When the AFL killed off Fitzroy, they scheduled Fitzroy’s last game in Perth. So the AwFL deliberately gave a big “Fark you” to all the long suffering Fitzroy supporters who could not see their club’s last game.

Fremantle — AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE — put on a very emotional closing ceremony to see out one of the longest serving VFL clubs.

Then when the AwFL was making us the scapegoat for the PED and illegal drug taking of Hawthorn, Geelong, WCE, Collingwood etc, they mobilised all the other clubs to threaten us with disqualification from the league. Gordon of Footscray was a prime mover to get every club to support this. Fremantle was the only club that didn’t toe the party line.

The AwFL responded by a) making sure the maggots “give us the results we need” and Footscray won their grand final; and b) moving Freo’s finals game against Geelong to Geelong. (Is that still the only final played in Geelong over the last 60 years?)

So Freo should be any Essendon supporter’s second team.

they could not give a flying ■■■■.

it’s only merrett and maybe a handful of others that would take any personal responsibility, the rest of them are typical pissweak digital native internet generation clowns who’d point the finger at everything and everyone but themselves.

We’ve been getting results like this for 10 seasons.
Has anything changed?
All that’s happened is that Parish,McGrath & Redmond now have 6 year contracts, Heppell plays 98% of games regardless of form and Laverde is back for day 1 of pre-season next year.
We are beyond f*cked.
This club is cursed and we’ll never be good.
