Why can’t we just be like normal clubs and ■■■■■■■ rebuild? Just once this century would be nice. Just have a crack at it, either we continue being bad for another decade, or we rebuild and maybe also continue to be bad for another decade. Or just maybe! We rebuild and actually get somewhere different for once?
We have defied the odds in a modern AFL system of equalisation, by being so mediocre for so long it is actually dumbfounding.
At some point every or nearly every club just gets lucky based on how the system works, and they see some level of competitive success, and we can’t even get that.
If we do a full scale so be it but its going to be rubbish and there are no gurantees that it will lead to succes at the end of it is all im saying

We probably need a rebuild.
But we don’t really know how bad we are when players are played out of position, like Martin.
And are we closer to knowing whether the Davies, Bryan can play etc?
We’re in the worst possible position.

Blitz may welcome a rebuild now but it will get unhinged and bad will be no diffrent to how it is now

In my alternate universe we never moved to the Hanger, we beat the bowls club and built a state of the art facility at Windy Hill. We never moved to Docklands and instead play at the G.
Dodoro was sacked about 15 years ago. Hird is still coach. Bomber is head of football. We never got caught for taking drugs and our team is all juiced up, winning finals every year.

We really need to “jag” 3 out and out stars from the draft - game changers - and see them develop over the next 3 years. It doesnt look like any of recent drafts is going to deliver the “champions” that all successful sides have

There will be nothing more nauseating then watching them come out this weekend and make a statement when the season is gone. It will just confirm that they are a bunch of peahearts they are that are so mentality fragile.
