I’m not arguing that. I get your frustration, we’re all feeling it. I just don’t think this approach is constructive at all or will help the club. It won’t.

I put in a lot of effort during the saga to get justice for the 34. And continue to do so. I have put the club first, to my detriment.

So we end the preseason with a long injury list many of them overuse injuries like stress fractures and OP.
The players that do enter the season will be flying and we look like millionaires the first 6 rounds.
After the bye we are completely cooked from fatigue and start getting thrashed every week.
Great plan.

2 years running we sat top 5 at rnd 17 talent is not really an issue
The coaching staff need to find out why we collpase towards the pointy end of the season
Need to weed out the players arent up to it which is what Brad will do this off season
Is it really what Brad will be doing though? He literally just approved to extend Menzie who has an uncanny ability to be in the right place so frequently but absolutely butcher the opportunity before the ball even touches his hands…

Who’s stood up n the second half of the season, proving they are up to it.
The rest aren’t up to it and that’s a long list of players that need to be moved on. Almost like a rebuild is required.
Thats what Brad needs to do find the ones that did and turf the ones who havent
We collapse because other teams start taking us seriously and work out how to counter and beat us, and our list just isn’t good enough to match that.

Merret, Caldwell and maybe Stringer every couple of weeks, that’s it. It’s a very small list.
Even Durham and Martin have dropped off abit. Not overly concerned about those two, as they have shouldered alot this season and should continue to grow.
Theres a whole bunch of senior players with a line though, another huge group of players in their prime who simply never stand up and impact games. Finally a a group of kids who are probably the least exciting group of kids we’ve ever had.
Cupboard is completely bare.

Look, there’s gaps on the list. There’s holes. Thst said, they’re a better team than what they’ve served up the last 6 weeks. Mental resilience is an area they have to improve in. Confidence has ebbed away and they have lost cohesiveness and connection at every line. And they have to be better at defending the ground. Ditto forward entries and composure.
