Honestly, i would put anyone up for trade bar a couple (caldwell, durham, caddy just to name a couple)
I’d actively shop guys like redman, ridley, mcgrath, stringer, perkins, cox, Langford etc. Make it known to other clubs pretty much anyone is up for trade and we’ll sell cheap
I’d even trade merrett for the right price (also for his own good)
I dont even care what the return is. Give me a third round pick for each of them for all i care. The most important part is this list is blown up, not what we get for them
Spot on, posters like nino will argue that we can’t afford to lose all our good players. Look what these guys have done over the years, they’re not going to change, they’re the same players that are mentally fragile. Even if we hit the very bottom of the draft and get some real elite talent in, it’s much better than floating midtable season upon season. What comes from being at the bottom and getting that elite talent through the door can also build sustainable success.
Not true if we could get decent picks in return for our good players i wouldnt be aginst trading them but we wont. you cant build a list with 2nd and 3rd picks becuase that all they are worth in terms of a trade
Durham and Caldwell has to be the blue print of the players we draft and bring in via trade/FA players who are hungry for contest and a will to get better
No more private school guys or skinny types that take years to develop
