To bear in mind that some of the proposals in the Wood report - ASADA, National Tribunal and Sports Integrity Commission - would require legislative change and hence open up debate.

The third time in 3 years - when are the AFL & ASADA going to do a joint investigation into Collingwood?
Collingwood’s Sam Murray is alleged to be under investigation by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, stemming from a post-match drugs test last month.
According to a report on AFL.com.au, Murray, 20, was told of an elevated reading from the test last week. He had been picked on Thursday in the Pies’ team to play Port Adelaide but was withdrawn on Friday because of “personal reasons”.
AFL.com.au reports that the substance was allegedly an illicit drug, but could carry a four-year ban because it was detected on match day and is thus considered performance enhancing.
