If wadas hotshot lawyer rich young is thinking about using the dank/ humanofort angle to nail the players, he will be laughed out of CAS. Somehow I dont think he is that stupid and we shouldnt worry about the humanofort issue. equally we will only be sure after they file their appeal brief what their angle of attack
will be. no use for us to get hot under the collar ATM.
Now its a charge of its a conspiracy to think about using a banned substance with a thought to traffickingâŚ
Thatâs got to be hard to manufacturer evidence for, even for ASADA.
Getting kooky.
What might a similar report on Carltonâs magic blue milkshakes might look like?
Everything is out of context, and not likely to be given any, ever.
AT don't forget MJ getting pinged 50m for telling an opposition player to get up & stop being a weak dog. The maggot mindread weakc@%t.And there you go just as dons23 predicted an age article about weird dank doing weird horse drug experiments on our players but nothing about ASADAâs reliance on Hirdâs 3 step instructions. Just a little bit of research at any time during the past 2 years since we knew about the polymer/thymosin/AOD mix would show that polymers are widely used in drug delivery, so some facts on this specific polymer would be useful.
The continuing AFL leaking is nauseating, but I guess the institution expected to hold them to account is the media who live off this stuff.
That was against the Swans after one of their precious players took a dive. The look on MJâs face was gold when he had a double take after realising he was getting pinged the 50m. That was almost worth it.
Couple of components to De Novo challenge
- Players lawyers were very strong Pre Hearing on this matter
- Some of the players retired before the WADA code changes in January 2015. So there last signed agreement is still under the old anti-doping code
- This appeal is not just a hope and see. Many many hours of discussions involving many experts across Australia and Swiss Legal/Law experts. This appeal is based on those conversations and what group consensus was at the end.
Prevention is always better than the cure, and the AFL had rocks in their head signing up for WADA. It wouldnât surprise me if the decision was mainly political, as someone like Vlad was ingratiating himself with the government of the time.
I read about them signing up ages ago somewhere. From what I remember it was done at the last minute as time was running out. Vlad had been distracted by something else going on and no one had looked fully at the implications, so it was signed there and then on the last day otherwise they would lose their funding. Cant remember where I read it.
Some questions:Did the SCNs stipulate how TB4 was allegedly administered?
What date was humanofort found to not have the âclaimedâ elements?
Was humanofort on the consent forms? My questions relate to whether any of this has a baring on the CAS?
Some answers regarding relevance to WADA:
Irrelevant.
Irrelevant.
Irrelevant.
Some slightly more helpful answers:
No.
Ask Suki. Or Chip.
Doesnât sound like it. I wouldnât draw any conclusions whatsoever from that, though.

Haha! I was going to add that one in but I have cited that so many times over the years I thought I better not mention it again because certain people here do not like being reminded of history.
Now its a charge of its a conspiracy to think about using a banned substance with a thought to trafficking. Gee they are good.the other, and perhaps most significant, thing in this is the suggestion the TB-4 is an ingredient in humanofort. It had not previously occurred to me but perhaps WADA intend to appeal on the basis that the players received TB-4 in the humanofort and not through independent administration of that specific substance.Been a lot of discussion about this on Twitter with Richad Ings and Chip. The suggestion is that it will not be pursued by WADA for the players because HUMANOFORT has been tested and does not contain any banned substances. They are attempting to establish that Dank though it contained TB4 and therefore was attempted trafficking.

Chip, who has read the tribunal decision, has been very clear on twitter this morning that the tb4 case against the players is that they were injected with it in dankâs office. CAS rules would prohibit WADA from now trying to change tact and argue that they got the tb4 through humanofort.

To punish Essendon for the alleged âintentâ to do something, without having any evidence of such intent, WADA will have to get expert advice from people who have advanced mind-reading powers, such as maggots that penalise the team for incidents like:
-Dean Rioli making a tackle. He was penalised for a spear tackle, even though the tackle he made was perfectly legitimate. The maggot (Maclaren, an arch-maggot) claimed that it wasnât but Rioli âcould haveâ made a spear tackle.
-Dustin Fletcher for many things, e.g. being penalised a 50 m for âdemonstrative demeanourâ [Umpire: Demonstrative abuse, you were being demonstrative. Dustin: What? Umpire: ⌠you were being demonstrative. Dustin: You donât even know what that means!]
Maclaren and his farkwit mates will be standing by for call from WADA.

It will be interesting to see how they can establish what Dank âthoughtâ at the time, especially in the absence of that person.
they are relying on text messages/emails exchanged between dank and the manufacturer.

ok thanks for that. Iâve been off twitter for a while.
this is just the most stupid thing I have heard in regards to this entire saga âŚseriously people seriously??
Thanks longs93GFGoal! I appreciate the clarification.
Anyone notice the bit where ASADA note some computer record that they hadnât earlier? Seems to be the bit about the spreadsheet that Hird mentioned on 360. Funny how there are no records unless they are pointed out elsewhere, then they magically appear. Also funny how it is continually reported that âthe players have no idea what they were administeredâ but in the tribunal it is all about how much and when it was administered not being documented, not so much what was administered. How the hell does ASADA know with such certainty that Humanfort was given to the players?? I thought nobody knew what the players were given?
ASADA have continually demonstrated they have no interest or regard for the truth, and in that tribunal (with a no show from the accused) they have been let off the leash. It tells us absolutely nothing reliable about the state of the documentation. Until EFC is actually made a party to the proceedings and given a fair chance to present what happened with regard to the documentation, including being given access to what Deloits has custody of, any assertions about the state of the documentation from this tribunal is absolute fabrication.
I don't understand. Are they saying our players didn't take injections of TB-4, but drank a protein shake containing TB-4. But, the protein shake didn't ACTUALLY contain TB-4. But, Dank THOUGHT it did. So, they're charging him with the INTENT to use TB-4.Could someone make it clearer, please?
Others can correct me if Iâm wrong but I think itâs more thatâŚ
The transcript was from the sentencing hearing.
Dank wasnât found guilty of injecting players with TB-4 and the players were found not guilty of having been injected with it, so they couldnât argue that in their submission for how long they think he should be banned - itâs not to say that ASADA doesnât believe thatâs what happened.
The Humanofort prominence in that document seems to be because it was, in ASADAâs view, the worst of the charges he was found guilty of. Given the fact that itâs been tested and found not to have any of those things in it, youâd assume that it wouldâve been fairly easy to beat that charge if he had actually fronted.
Dank did not show up and was not even convicted on all charges.
The real crime is the continual leaking of confidential material which is supposed to remain confidential at least until penalties imposed.
Dank should finally issue some proceedings, although given his history holding oneâs breath would not be advised.
Again this latest âscoopâ just shows what a farce the ASADA/WADA regime is and the sooner athletes exit the show trial system they have allowed themselves to be a part of the sooner sport can go back to being sport and not this media driven reality show.
Hilarious.
ASADA has actually used Hirdâs instructions as evidence that Dank disobeyed Essendonâs instructions (p 11), as a further ground in support of a life ban.
Who wants a bet The Age doesnât put THAT in any of its reports about this?
Also, anyone asked Essendon whether Dank ever invoiced them for Humanofort?
