No easy games for us this year. It just seems like every team we come up against has this extra reason to win when they come up against us. The outside noise in the lead up to our games just goes to show how impressive our wins have been.

West coast had just been belted by Hawthorn, talk of Simpson needing personal leave during the week, they came out and threw everything at us.
Norf always set themselves for us like it’s a grand final

I’d prefer an average side feeling good about itself but ultimately it doesn’t matter. You just have to beat who is in front of you and that is what Scott is trying to build an understanding of.
Stick to the system, bring your best effort, and you get what you deserve…
Scott is certainly not ruminating on this sort of stuff which reassures me even though I’m grizzling about it.
The point though is that there is a little more merit in our recent wins than we are getting credit for.

NM played well.
The other two sides were absolute garbage and whatever narrative there is had no impact. We took care of WCE fairly easily, and beat FARK CARLTON in 15 mins of footy. It’s good we won them but we should be winning them.
We are gradually moving from being the hunter to becoming the hunted.
That’s what happens when teams strive, improve and become leaders of the action. We are not quite there yet but; give us another 12 to 18 months. If we can continue to improve, that’s where we will be. Others are watching us. Go Bombers.
