Anyway this thread is not about me, let’s get back to swooping birds. I once had a gap in the top of my front porch and minors built a nest in it and attacked everyone going through the front door. May those minors and their eggs rest in peace.

So by having a gap in your front porch, you encouraged these birds to start a family in it then you proceeded to murder them for doing what comes naturally?

Life is tough in Reservoir. Apart from that lake which looks serene.

Magpies have amazing memories for faces as well. If you’ve got magpies in your area that are swooping, leave them some food a couple of times, and soon they’ll recognise you aren’t a threat. They will then remember you for years. There are even cases of kids being recognised after they have grown to adulthood and gone back to the same area.
My folks have a family of magpies that hang out on their back deck and just warble away. We feed them occasionally and never have any problem with them.

Can’t believe VD just shows his face after all this time. He took losing Spacey to me really hard, good to see you back. It even drove @Diggers to support Sydney.

His aggressive attempts at importuning Spacey were quite demeaning and hopefully he has spent the time away reflecting upon his behaviour and taking steps to prevent it from ever happening again.
