Interesting listening to Basset on the port game. He was a tad odd talking about Jobe, something along the lines of “after watching him train I’m really keen to see him play.” Not sure if it was negative or positive, just odd phrase.
He was also very surprised by Winderlich, something I think is pretty common outside the bombers. You don’t keep a player around through two back operations, a knee reco and probably another two years of hamstring strains if he is an average footballer. Just wish he would get the recognition one day, like a norm smith medal on a GF.
