However, they’d want to explain why in ANH Obi Wan says ‘he never seemed to remember owning some droids’ when he’s just been with those two very droids. That would close a plot hole for me.

I’m glad they didn’t go ahead with a Boba Fett movie as was planned 4-5 years ago, as I don’t think the Boba Fett character is overly interesting…… as I didn’t think he was overly interesting watching Return of the Jedi as a kid.

One thing I’m pleased about tho, is that all these Faveau shows feel like Star Wars. The movies really didn’t. I really like the fact that they have alien species that we know as background characters (Trandoshan, Twi’leks, Rodians, Mon Calamari’s, Jawa’s, Ithorians, etc)

I don’t know if it’s on the Producers, or the make-up people…… but the Prequel movies (clearly) with huge budgets just created all new aliens, and it felt like another sci-fi franchise. I’m not saying you can’t add new aliens in, but you need to keep the familiar.

Getting Dave Filoni on board with Favreau was a brilliant decision

Series definitely feel more star wars than the newer movies

The first sequel (copy of episode 4) made by Abrams was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. You get given the reigns to write the next chapter of Star Wars, everyone gets excited, and you essentially do a remake of the first movie.

Had some of the story beats of a new a hope but it wasn’t a 1 to 1 copy imo.

Force Awakens did a really good job of setting up the new trilogy then Rian Johnson came in and destroyed it all with The Last Jedi

Then Disney had to bring back Abrams to try and fix the mess with Rise of Skywalker which was a bomb.

The Prequels cop a lot of crap but at least they had a plot thread that tied all 3 films

That’s the mistake Disney/Lucasfilm made when they purchased Star Wars they had no plan or outline for the new triliogy they just wanted to make their money back as quickly as posible and just pump out films with no thought and process

Will be interesting if they can sustain what appears to be a ‘spy’ storyline, which would be quite a bit different to anything they’ve done before.
