Not sure Iād be backing Hooker to hold let alone increase that value. May I suggest somebody like Aliir Aliir who is another around that price (a little cheaper) but has higher potential. His numbers were down in 2020 but a new club & possible role tweak could see him easily increase in value.
The other player I have doubts over is Dow. I have no idea on his injury situation but he only played 3 games last year & Iām not sure if heās close to their best 25. Maybe see if he plays NAB & Carlton play the 1st game so be prepared to trade him to a 1st year mid if heās not picked. I just think a top 2020 draftee mid has more chance of being the next 300K+ increase player than Dow unless thereās a reason to believe heās about to break out in season 4.

Dow to me is interesting. Yes, only played three games last year due to a long running knee issue, and got dropped. Greg Williams got stuck into him and said he needed to be harder. His first two seasons averaged 14 touches a game, last year in crappiest of crappy circumstances only 7. Think it may have been hub life and injury. As good a chance as any to improve and is a no. 3 pick. The kid has talent.
Hooker I think was really hampered last year. By all reports he looks as fit as he has for quite a while. If he can have a sunset year, every chance he gets into the 500k bracket. I would take a 200k rise and Hooker in great form.

Dow is a tricky one. Williams also said heās the worst kick heās ever seen on a player and alot of my mates that go for carlton say Dow is terrible. Think thereās much better options at his price. Can get a 123k rookie that will score better than him and play more
