Supercoach 2022

Great score for the 1st week.

2416 with Hayes and Martin on the bench.

Surely this would have to be the highest scoring SC 1st round ever.

I think overall people are just getting better at picking teams.

Someone in one of my leagues had 2500

All the rookies fired and there were a few bargains

Yeah, exactly…round 1 scores are usually 1800-2000. 2,400+ are usually in the finals when teams are filled with premium players.

There will be 2,600+ this week I reckon

2418 with 270k in the kitty
Martin and Rachelle benched.

I’m still backing in my boy, Michito Owens.

2298 for me. Over 200 points on the bench :frowning:

I used emergency loophole to get him on my field, I didn’t have him there initially

So I screwed up (as a supercoach newbie) and have plenty for mid fwd forwards, but in my excellence forgot to put any in the midfield…

Is there a way to shuffle them around???
Sacrifice a couple of trades?

This would be for flexibility purposes, I do have scoring bench players across the field.

Just leave them where they are for now, later when you need to cash in a mid rookie and want to buy a forward you can move your dual position guy into the midfield to open up the spot in the forward line.

Thanks.

That’s what I needed to know.

I wouldn’t change anything now. Maybe just be mindful when you bring new mids in

Why do you have a zero round 1?

Leave your mid/fwd in your forward line.

Is Lloyd out this week too?

This week is really getting blokes that you missed, like Hayes, Martin etc
yeh they could get injured next week, but its risk worth taking,

or maybe sideways one of your mid pricers to a Hewitt /Tom Green / Lipinski/

I was just having a browse of the rules as I saw the new boost button beside the trades. We now get 35?? And 5 boosts? Dont they realise I’m old and don’t like change???

Depends how many you missed, but trades (either sideways or for “missed rookies”) this week are very risky. Odds are the player you trade out put up a decent score while the player you bring in does a hammy, and you hold expecting 3 weeks and he’s never seen again.

Remember the score from Rd 1 has the least effect on pricing of any round all year due to only being counted in one price rise cycle.
