What even is a boost? More trades for a particular round?
yes bringing forward a trade
would be better to boost next week if you need to before price rises
more trades due to covid?
I am assuming it is a bug and they will fix it…wasn’t like that before…I even got balloons and streamers saying I had won my match!
It’s mainly to cover Covid Protocols.
But you can also use them strategically to get ahead on the upgrade cycle.
yup.
I assume there will be weeks where your team might be struck with Covid outs.
I got 2247. Backline a massive fail, Ridley, Crisp and Whitfield all well below par. Midfield and forward pretty decent. Rolled the dice on a Grundy/Witts ruck combo, happy with the output!
2141 with Hayes and Martin on the bench
What a crazy week of scoring. In my team I had 13 tons (including 8 over 120 with 3 over 140) and 5 90s.
A pity I didn’t get all of those on field (and had 3 sub-50 on field) but compared to my usual round 1 score of about 1700 it’s a bit unexpected.
Of course, Rd 1 is usually dominated by unexpected mid price spikes, and those players normally revert to the mean a bit, but it’s still good to be at least somewhere in the game compared to trying to work out which of 8 players due a massive price drop to get rid of
(And yes I probably spoke too soon…)
Few in the ones im in hit 2600
Yep my backline was similar…LLoyd 0, Ridley plus whitfield underwheling (Hewett was good) then my emergency was DeKonig, but Gibcus scored more.
Don’t sideways anyone after round one outside injury or rookie correction.
In fact don’t sideways in general outside injury.
He nailed the midfielders
assume traded out ruckman mid round and used $$$ elsewhere as had Haynes on bench
and brought in Hollands as had Martin on bench.
my side currently
West coast play North Melbourne maybe should start JHF and Xerri on field
Yep. I reckon somewhat likely traded our Rachele to get Martin’s score (which if things had gone badly could have cost the $$!)
It’s a game of millimetres at the top end. They must have decided to go all out, but the same decision probably impacts on their ability to compete for the end of year because they’ll need to use trades for Rachele if he becomes a must have and to get another proper ruckman etc…
Ward is an obvious one really. If the foot issue has flared again he’s either going to be out/limited and given that low score take a while to actually get any cash generated
That said there are heaps who play catch up in first few rounds having not researched properly
And anyone trading out Ridley, Gawn & Whitfield after one round is just dumb
2391 - Best start for me since I don’t know when.
I managed to nail most of the rookies for a change and will probably look at changing Ward for Lipinsky as have a little cash .
Is Ward the foot flaring up? Thought it was reported that he cramped up?
I thought I’d read somewhere was foot issue but if it’s only cramp should prob be held still
His previous practice match was dominant
Wayyyyy to many dons players. I know we love pir own players but having that many you can expect them to all score high every week!
