Supercoach 2022

I honestly dont know why people trade this week. Players like martin and hayes which look like keepers you really should wait tilk after this weeknwhen they play their 2nd game before they go up after their 3rd game. Need to minimise risk. If you trade them in now youre going 1 week early on a price rise and what happens if they get injured this week or get dropped the following? Wasted burnt trade. People going early on ward yet only in his last preseason game hebsunk what 130 odd? Id wait till next week before makkng decisions like that otherwise you keep doing that this year youll have ran out of trades before you know it

Because Mitch Owens that’s why.

Scored an absolute stinker of course. But that doesnt mean you still dont wait that extra week to make sure before the price rises.

People did it with tom highmore last year and he then came back out and was very good

Watched enough footy to know when a kids not up to it. Ratten obviously thinks so too - only gave him 54% game time.

His break even goes up to 41 this week, and I honestly don’t see him getting there.

Highly doubt Owens will be picked this week, but I’m pretty sure Brady Hough will. Simple trade. I always set aside 4 or 5 trades for the first couple of weeks to get my rookies right.

But if you’re trading your premiums at this time of year, that’s another story.

“simple” assumes Hough has two weeks in him. They might be both gone before a price rise, and Owens might end up being the first back. Only a week ago Ratten was talking up Owens holding his own with Steele in the intraclub.

It’s still a risk to trade, and with the trade boost, you don’t have to do it now to correct multiple after two rounds

I understand that, but since they are rookie corrections that are most likely on your bench, why not remove the risk… what happens if hough gets injured during this weeks game? Youre gonna burn two trades. One being getting him this week, then another getting rid of him injured before the price rise…
Also, if he sinks a 30 his break even will still be low, its a 3 round rolling average especially being a 117/123k
Anyway hopefully that clears it up, im just trying to help people out and understand this thats all. It would be different if hough price was going up this week. I mean by all means you dont have to listen to me but im also pretty experienced in supercoach and just trying to help out!

Also worth noting Shuey, Duggan, T Kelly could all potentially be back this week or next for WCE.

Absolutely. Hewett may also be pushed out to a wing with walsh back… we shall see.

I always listen.

Appreciate it. But this ain’t exactly my first rodeo either :joy:

I agree with you but…I don’t have Rowell.

Okay no worries! by suggesting to trade rookie corrections 1 week early though made it sound like it may have been haha.

Big clash coming up this week. @The_Ant v myself. Only 10 points separated us last week. Will anyone burn a trade in a desperate bid for superiority? I wouldn’t put it past myself.

Just needing to burn one trade on a rookie correction.

Getting Owens out of my team quick smart and got sheldrick in, reasonably happy with my rookies now. Most have very low break evens.

Seeing Crisp show up in the most traded out. ■■■■■■■ morons

How many “reverse trades” have been implemented so far?

annoying nick martin out wanted to see how he backed up.

Cerra out as well with Covid, at least blues have walsh back this week

Covid protocols going to effect lots of matches.

At 0-1 I might just be on tilt enough to do something stupid mid round.

hence the 35 trades and 5 trade boosts.

I would wait for one more week but it may be a correction trade next week.

You could go Crisp to Hewitt or Sicily and then use the cash to go Ward to McDonald or Berry to Cripps/Green.

But lets get one more week of free info.

Max Gawn now showing up in “most traded out” in my team.

Wtf are these people doing.
