Supercoach 2023

Actually by the time Sunday teams come out this arvo I may not only be without cover, I may already be staring at donuts.

Multiple of them it turns out, even before Ridley gets a chance to be a late out

Almost never seen anything like this week. Off the top of my head:

Dunkley
Cameron
Green
Lloyd
T Mitchell
S Mitchell
Serong
Ziebell
Maric
Young
D Robertson
Horne Francis
Bailey Smith

I had 4 missing pre trades, 3 after ditching Green (I was going to trade Sheezel but gotta hold fit players this week) with Windy, Cunningham and gulp Sturt covering.

Still, could be worse I guess. Dunks and Lloyd expected back next week. No idea on Cameron.

I have 7 of that list plus have been holding Oliver.

Just traded Oliver. still have 7 of the list (plus 3 floating donuts. Not ideal. Could try and trade my way out of it (have a boost left, so could make 2 more trades. But seems unwise to burn trades on single week issues

I donā€™t want to jinx my luck but have dodged a few bullets so far.

Had to trade Oliver but Iā€™ve still got Dunkley. He better be back next week.

First donut of the year.

Stupidly because my non playing pivot players team played last night! Grrrrr.

Not me, but apparently 6 had the C on him

No donuts but do have Dale and Neale which is less than ideal. English VC.

Wheert der ferrk?? Big game. And no. I didnā€™t.

Having watched the game it doesnā€™t feel right that Gawn scored 100 extra points than Petracca. Yes I own Petracca but no way a goal 25 possession game is 100 points off what Gawn did.

No idea what is happening with Petraccas score.

It should be 150+

Gawn had 40 odd hit outs didnā€™t he and if to advantage counts for more

Plus more contested possessions, more tackles, better disposal efficiency

And probably the bigger impact in last Q when game on line which gets scaled

Donā€™t disagree with that. But without Petracca I donā€™t reckon Melbourne are within striking distance. 16 of his 26 were contested possessions and he kicked 4.

Gawn deserved his massive score but Petraccaā€™s score was nonsense. Ashcroft was within 10 points having barely any influence on the game.

Itā€™s getting pretty hot for the last few spots in the 8.

DeesNartz has had a massive few weeks and will be hard to keep out. Iā€™m fairly happy with how my team is set up, but anything can happen. (Iā€™m also about to go off the grid again :grimacing:) Just need a player to miss and then someone has a Gawn and Houston type scenario and itā€™s all over. Has been a cracking season so far.

Just looking at this league vs the free leagues, and you can get lucky or unlucky with the head to head draws judging by me being equal with redbull on wins in one league, and 3 wins behind in the other!
