Supercoach 2024

Everyone has their own strategy.

I’m all for upgrading as quick as possible. So this week I’ll have 23 trades left and 1 Boost. Others are more conservative and save trades and hope for carnage later in the season.

Also dependant on cash generation and league versus overall.

only 1941 last week, but won all 3 leagues.

issue in midfield - MCKercher, Sanders, Berry, Bramble all losing value.

Interestingly points per minute, Tsatas is as good as anyone.

trades:
Bramble → Jack Macrae
Bonner → Josh kelly

I’m upgrading Wines and Horne-Frances to Bontempelli and Walsh. A week early on Bont but I’ve done the maths and the savings on Bont next week will only be offset by the loss on Wines.

Was ranked 500 or so… bad week and now about 1700… going early with trades… suspect i am going out with a bang

Looking like theres gunna be some big scores this round, already rueing not doing captains loophole with Gawn.

At least you have Gawn. I don’t have either Gawn or Green…

I’m the opposite. I’m going the slow burn strategy. Barring too many major injuries, I’m expecting my team to peak around round 13.

Finally put a half decent score down in 2462, no doubt there will be some big scores this week.

Playing around with trading Grundy who isn’t a keeper and using Jordan Sweet as second ruck for a period of time. Sweet can clearly score well as a solo ruck and I think his base scoring over the next 4-5 matches will be better than other rookie options this week.

Sweet @R3 for cash gen like Briggs last year.

Yeh I considered that too.
I have Conway who has a nice breakeven too if gets another match.

Out- Sharp, Powell.
In- Rodgers Laird.

Grundy vs Sweet is going to be maybe 20 points difference per round

That means I need to get 20 points extra out of my upgrades a week to offset. So getting a rookie mid like Sharp off the field vs playing a premium mid needs to make up the difference.

Didn’t do the Laird, I have $592 to spend and I genuinely can’t see a better deal than Nic Martin…Parish is also very good value at $493.

Yeah I used a boost for Rogers and Sweet in and looks to have been a good move dumpin Rozee for the Bont ended up with 500k in the bank.

So Clarry is $476K of the back of a 140+ score, who’d have taken this at the start of the season?

How many trades is everybody on? I’m on 25 and considering a triple trade this week - abit ambitious? Have a few potential outs with injuries (Williams, Yeo, Green) so will probably have to wait this week.
