I tried the supercoach loophole and stuffed it up lol. I cost me a league win too.
I had Gawn as my VC, then put Zac Reid on the field as Captain with Luke Ryan on the Bench. 2 problems, 1. I forgot Essendon played before Freo, so when I went to put Ryan back on as Captain, I couldn’t (Ryan scored 197). Second thing was both my defenders were emergencies, which meant I got the lowest score. So not only did I not get Ryan as Captain which would have given me 394 points, I didn’t even get the 197 points.

That’s a solid stuff up.
It’s the worst when you realise you have screwed something like that. (Although you really only cost yourself 283, because at least you got Gawn x2.)
I’ve seen similar where people have done similar but missed the Zac Reid player being a late in as sub who scored 11 points or something.

I had Ryan as my skipper and he scored 1/5 of my team score.
That’s how well I’m travelling.

I copped the Tom Green captain score too.
To make matters worse:
• 4 matches ago - Green captain, scraped 100
• 3 matches ago - Green captain, scraped 70
• 2 matches ago - Did not touch Green, smashes out 159
• Last match - Green captain, scored 5
It took me a while, I had faith, but have now learned my lesson!

Yepp I think I’m on my last boost which I’m going to activate this week.
Surplus trades this year allow us to be more aggressive 
FWIW I also took Steele as captain in that week I skipped on Green. Steele smashed out 70

Did that and paid the price. Also forgot to change the captain before the first game and got stuck with Sweets score. What a dill.

I pulled the trigger as well. Ended up moving Jackson into the rucks to play, keeping Sweet on the bench. I also made the strangest sub ever - left out Bont and decided to bank Wilson’s 126 which ended up costing me 16 points.

FFS, I rolled back trades in seeing Sexton picked rushed before deadline and I fkn accidentally left my VC and C from last week as the same. Walsh VC and Gawn C, both playing in same game, and Gawn is not having a good game either.
