Team of the decade 2010-2019

If you had all those players together for one year in top form they would kill it. Easily premiership contender. If only it ever happened. The footy gods have been cruel this last decade. Hird would be my coach.

That gotta be the quickest defence - even Fletcher managed to run Garlett down.

The 22 I did, had 11 All Australians in it.

It’d wanna do something.

Yep. And if they were all in form then I’m sure they’d kill it. But a lot of those players had really good seasons and then also not so good seasons…

Dig up the thread for the previous decade.

No changes for mine.

Would it lighten the mood if I pointed out that the actual team of the decade was H…?

…no, perhaps not…

Well, at least there was this:

just slotted stringer and Goddard in to fill the holes and feel they are now “Essendon” people.

Good thanks @aboods !

Settled back into Adelaide life (and thankfully not living with us!). Resumed his electrical apprenticeship, which he loves. He’s in a really good space.

Played a pretty ordinary year in the Division 1 amateurs here, rupturing his ACL in the last minor round unfortunately. This has prevented him from resuming cricket this summer. He has recently signed on as an Assistant Coach (which is laughable to all of us that know him well!) at a lower-ranked amateur footy club next season, where he will complete his rehab and hopefully resume playing either late 2020, or in the 2021 season.

Did he make All Australian?
Might have missed him.
