I’m with you on Welsh and Dickfingers, but Spike was a very good mid, for a brief moment.
2008 was his best year with 13 votes (career tally of 23 votes). He was 16th, so a pretty decent year. But was a total flash in the pan, the other Brownlow votes he got were much earlier in his career. He had one cracking year.
Just looked it up, I remember now. He was in the top few when he broke down in rd 15-16.
