Purchasing tracks would have been easy.
Prior to music streaming services, I purchased many songs off iTunes.
I cannot see on my Mac Studio where I can do that now.

Doesn’t it happen through Music App. Seems to allow purchases through Apple Music.
I think they split iTunes into TV, Podcasts and Music.
Has anyone had issues with their TVs failing on them aftwr 5-6 years? My LG has lost picture five years and one month after the date of manufacture. My boss had exactly the same thing happen with his Sony. My sister’s TV (not sure of brand) went after five and a bit years.
Is this a thing, where appliances are basically built to fail after a particular time frame?
Most likely failed capacitor (s) in the power supply. Some tv vendors cheap out on them and fit poor quality ones with little over voltage margin. It’s an easy fix for an electronics technician.
A hard reset can sometimes fix it.
I had two issues happen to mine. One inside warranty which was the internal power supply. It was a common/known issue by Sony so easy fix and under warranty.
The other time this happened I did a hard reset - hold remote and volume or some weird combination. I didn’t expect it to work, because the TV was completely dead/out. but it did.
Worth a try.
Let me know how you go.
Youtube music is my streaming platform of choice, but i need mp3s sometimes too.
Be nice to only have to pay for YT music
All done for me by Soulnet (legend).
I must have been doing something wrong with the conversion program.
Cool. Ill give that link a go.
Ive got a garmin watch for exercise - it takes mp3s which ive been meaning to try out for listening to tunes so I can go without phone.
Edit: hmm i got sent to some dodgy casino site when clicking on download.
After you select what bitrate to download the mp3 too. Maybe im doing something wrong?
I did a google and found this opensource project via a wikihow link
I might setup on my computer
I’d strongly advise against using those sites - they’re littered with high level malware.
If we’re talking about using videos with cc licences that may enable to rip,
I’d use audacity and record the audio internally.
Anyone used this for ripping audio from Youtube;
Google the name + reddit
Yer i went to wikihow and they recommended software on your computer over a website.
Im sure YouTube or any of the streaming services have it against their term of use to download anything to an open format. They make their money from you streaming.
Ive got a garmin watch i want music on. It only permits mp3s or aac (ie open formats).
The newer watchs support spotify. But i dont want to spend another 500 dollars on a new watch to simply listen to music out and about that i have paid to listen too on my phone or computer via a stream/youtube library download.
(And i use Youtube for music because a premium licence gives me ad free video as well)
There some creative commen licences that permit it I’m led to believe. It’s usually marked in the description depending on the choice of the creator.
Thanks, I’ll give that a try first. Although nothing was showing up when I hit the menu button yesterday, will give the settings button a go.
Im running a Mesh system (cheap Kogan one) with 3 modes to support my Optus NBN.
I have this weird situation where my iphone 15 pro connects to the mesh and gets good speed, except when my work PC is connected, same with my wife’s work PC.
Any ideas why those 2 PC’s turn my wifi speed only on my phone to a snail’s pace?
Don’t know what mesh you’re running but some will assign certain devices as ‘high priority’ and make sure that if there’s not enough bandwidth to go around, those devices will get most or all of it. Log into your router and see if there’s any options like that in the device list
Yeah…Kogan!
I have been using Quickbooks for years and today, I got this message
I have tried everything in my limited knowledge, can anyone offer any advice at all.
I am the only administrator, but I cannot seem to change anything.
Get a Mac!
Good advice, except the program that I cannot open has our total financial history on it.
Good excuse to never do the books again I guess.
