And yet, it might not be enough.
I’m not sure the bowlers will be too keen to play too many games at the junction
It does look quite the road.
Even in T20’s there needs to be some balance between bat and ball.
EDIT: Noting that a pitch can’t really be judged until both sides have batted on it.
A lot of it is just the ground dimensions too.
There were plenty that flew for 6 in the Scorchers innings that would have been gobbled up at the MCG.
He really middled that!
The Stars batting line-up looks incredibly thin without Maxwell and even Burns.

More over-rated than that young Indian opener who came out here a couple of summers ago with a “New Kohli” reputation, before proceeding to get badly exposed in a single test who has never been seen again?

Michael Neser is having a very solid summer. Struck first ball getting Weatherald lbw and took a catch for the 2nd wicket. Strikers 2/15 chasing 167. Doesn’t look a typical T20 road. There’s something in this deck!

His manager would have been doing cartwheels when he went gangbusters against India no less, opening the innings for Australia in that T20 series over there just before the World Cup.
You knew then that he was going to get a tidy payday come the IPL auction.
