The 2023 Draft Thread

Yep.

Shows the intelligence of our ■■■■■■■ club

Yeah I was wondering how this works. Is it a matter of a team just blinking first? Cos Cats were obviously keen on O’Sullivan.

They mustn’t rate that side of the draft much, and to make certain of getting what Brad wanted then by all means I

They clearly didn’t want Caddy. It wouldn’t have been worth giving him up just to gain pick 31 if they did want him.
So, we misjudged their intentions and traded up when we probably didn’t need to.
But in the end, it only cost us pick 31 so no great loss.

yeah I agree

Dunstall was 1.88
Lockett was 1.91
LLoyd was 1.92

Langford is 1.92 and doing great

Nate Caddy is 1.93

Don’t know why he has to say “I’m undersized for a key forward”

Not really mate, don’t put yourself down.
If you can lead and mark it and kick it straight you’ll be fine

Why risk the player you want? Securing someone you want by sacrificing round a pick 36-37 after bids is good business.

The Caddy family clearly not happy about getting picked by Essendon. Disregard the massive cheer that went up

Caddy has weirdly long arms.

Waaah we never do anything.

I just got this message from one of the Knights coaches.

Serious player. Probably best I’ve seen in my time at the knights

Pick 34 and 88 left

Long Arms Caddy

It’s both a great proactive move by Vozzo and also a questionable move by Dodoro.

is osullivans mate devvo at the pick?

I suppose, but we still had the pick at the end of the day to use on a player no matter how we ended up receiving it. 2nd rounders can be handy players, so I hope we’re sure of ourselves on Caddy.

Looks like a footballer ……love the confidence he seems to have

Think logically. If Geelong wanted caddy, they wouldn’t have traded.

Essendon just ■■■■■■ away a future second.

How close is 34 to the pick we just traded to Geelong?
