Pretty reliable media sauces say this was going to happen and the club has much better info here than us internet nuffies.
As it stands we have delayed a first round pick, so over the long term it won’t be noticeable. Losing the pick completely has much more downside for us than the upside of using it a year earlier.

Hopefully our F1’s are now firmly locked away for next year.
We have to wait 9+ more picks until we’re on the board…but I don’t think it’s worthwhile getting impatient, burning F1’s, just to sneak into that interim.

Would be pretty happy if any of those landed our picks would be extra happy if Clarke or Sims got to us.

I’m actually excited by the new Jayden, loved what I saw in that VFL game not knowing anything about him before then. TBH he showed more in that VFL match than either Davey boy had in the previous 15 games. Hoping no bids come for him before 60 but he tested very well so someone may surprise with an early bid. Pace and some dare with the ball.

Frankly, NM are still toting-up the cost of selecting Will Phillips before Logan McDonald…amongst broadly neglecting talls for years…then letting McKay go…
They’re now paying a fortune to deal with an imbalanced list build.
