He’s also related to Eddie Betts. Would be awesome if we grabbed him, but yeh after our first pick and then matching kako bid, imagine Eagles would match a second or third round bid.

The will need some more mature bodies around them. That many young blokes all at once wouldn’t work out, some of them would be bound to get broken, as we know from our own experience.

Then you are already dead. Jack did a lot of the heavy lifting, but look at what happened to the Tiges once Lynch was injured. They went all out for Lynch because they knew they needed him.

It’s true north are ■■■■. Impossible to deny. When did they start their rebuild? Well, by the standards of “Essendon don’t need to rebuild because we finished 11th for a couple of years in a row”, they finished 9th and 12th in 2018/19. Then fell off a cliff and gutted the list at the end of 2020. Let’s say 2020 rebuild start. ■■■■■■ the Phillips pick. ■■■■■■ the Horne-Francis pick in 2021. No argument there. Got a new list manager in 2022, new coach, etc, etc. New rebuild start.
Now we need to give Tsatas time to develop his kicking action in the twos and everyone who’s saying he’s a dud pick are panic merchants, and of course Hayes isn’t ready yet he’s a second year key position player. But north have completely ■■■■■■ it and are a cautionary tale because the four top five picks and four picks in the 20s they’ve taken over the last two years, from the same class as Tsatas and Hayes or younger, aren’t consistent high quality AFL players yet. It’s not a problem that Tsatas isn’t even being picked, that’s what development is for, but north’s kids should be carrying the ■■■■■■■ team.

So? They needed both, together they were stronger and split defences, separatly they drew extra attention and their effect was greatly diminished.

North had like 5 coaches in 8 years and two of them, not including Clarkson, were proper cray cray.

Well Yze is unproven.
He’s a 2nd year coach.
They’re basically going to be GWS/GC in their respective first years but not with as many first round picks for Richmond.
How long did it take GWS to play finals coz that’s best case for Richmond - it is going to be a longggggggg rebuild with no guarantees (see Gold Coast).
Norths VFL Team were diabolical too when we played them.
Worst part in that for us they could go best forward with the second pick essentially what we need
They might be wise and swap/trade some of these for picks next year so they’re not putting all their eggs into the same draft.

Its close, but I’d pick Lindsay, cleaner, more versatile, much better disposal. Tavaglia’s disposals is one of his weaker points I would say. If he gets space and time he’s solid, but he’s intense and hyper, which leads him to making rushed decisions and he’s a bit unco under pressure.

Thanks. Yes, watching Lindsay he strikes me as someone our list could really do with. Shame he got injured which might lead to him falling back a bit.
I’d say one of them (Sheezel) absolutely is a consistent high quality AFL player.
Wardlaw and McKercher look for all money like they will be too.
Duursma might take a bit longer just by the type of game he plays. But he’s shown some mighty exciting glimpses.
