The concert and gig thread

That wasn’t the full tour, just the Vic part, but yeah the closest they get to you is Brisbane on March 28, playing with The Onyas.

Ah, once again it’s time for my traditional annual festival of ‘I missed out on Waifs tickets AGAIN why don’t they play more than two Melbourne gigs a year or in venues bigger than a broom cupboard, dammit’.

Hopefully Melb. Bit of a gap between Sydney and Melb shows so there might be scope for an added Melb show? I’ll be on school holidays so happy to do a mid week show if necessary.

A far cry from the days of them playing to literally 4 people at the Evelyn.

I’ve been trying to see them for the best part of 20 years and the stars refuse to align. Just cursed at this point.

They are playing Summersalt, but I think I’m already booked that day…

Terry was supposed to come to our 25th anniversary but got invited to a Dustin Martin 300th game thingy. pfft poor excuse

Haven’t heard from him this time around. Not sure if he’s up to “Terry Wallace has a nice suntan” with that new pasty look he’s sporting

I first saw him as the support act for Tina Turner in her Private Dancer tour

Saw him once, supporting Police at Flemington in their ‘final’ show (which I think did stick for decades). BA was not bad from memory.
