So, what’s this Powderfinger hoopla going to reveal? A rumoured show?

We’ve been dropped from Laneway.
I was hoping for exciting news but sadly it turns out there will be more Powderfinger.
Suede doing first three albums one a night Sydney Opera House
Prices not so bad
Suede are tops.
See you there?
As much as I’d like to say yes, having dropped a grand in the past few weeks on radiohead and fontaines, I will not be travelling to Sydney. Or possibly anywhere, forever.
TISM again tonight. Very different gig to Wed night, but still excellent!
Where were ya?

About 10 people back from you
After all the family stuff, I finally got along to this thing for a couple of hours today.
EASILY one of the most bonkers, fun gigs I’ve ever attended. This was amazing. I only got to see about 7 bands and I guess some guys that were DJs.
The bands were all awesome, and just being able to walk a couple of meters, though a door, or up a stair case and then see an equally insane set.
If I have time to get some more sets in before my flight tomorrow I’ll be pretty happy.
But seriously, the Japanese bands know how to rock (fans a little subdued).
I was there last night too and I must say that I can’t believe it took me this long to finally see them live.
Their show is just incredible. The songs sound so much better live, the light show and choreography fantastic. The whole thing felt like a stadium production. And their energy on stage is amazing. They just don’t stop from go to whoa. Oh and the costumes last night were brilliant too.
What an experience! So glad to have finally seen them live.
Got a handful more bands in for Kappunk.
More great vibes. I was the most underdressed there. Absolutely worth planning a trip around
It’s definitely a sprint (apart from Ron’s poem). They do alright for oldies!
They’re much better two way runners than our midfielders are.
