BR / SocialD

I think BR opened for SD in their first gif, 40 something years ago.

Am I going to hate Margaret Court arena as much as I hate Margaret Court?

110 bucks, a ■■■■ venue and bad religion as opener?

■■■■ that.

Points taken but I think they’ve been touring a lot lately and alternate headline slot.

Such a yuck venue.

I kindve like that bands I listened to in the ‘90s and saw at places like The Corner, then got bigger I’m tje ‘00s, then 20 years later are back to playing at The Corner.

I’ll probably go for nostalgia and that’s about it.

Or, you could come down to the DIY Skatepark in Preston. BYO beer, hear some local punk rockers that are just doing it for themselves.

September 10th. 12 - 4

It’s a cool vibe with no ■■■■■■■■■. $5 entry if you can even find someone to pay. Money goes to building more skatepark.

Currently sitting in an area I don’t think I’m meant to be in listening to The Whitlams do their sound check.

Pretty cool.

If it’s an area no one (not just you) is supposed to be in, chances are it’ll sound better if you move. These days PA systems are placed and tuned so that it sounds good where people are supposed to be, and the areas of bad coverage are moved to places where there aren’t people.

I went to TMOC at Max Watts a month ago. Was amazing.

Went to the Battlestick album show a few years back at the corner. Was a belter. One if my all time faves.

How was it?

I’ve never seen Bad Religion live before.

Not sure I can pay 110 at that venue though.

You seen them before?

Yeah, back in (checks google…can’t figure it out) maybe 2006/7 in Sydney. And supposedly they played at a Vans warped tour gig I have photos of me at, but can’t remember.

Anyway. They’re one of my favourite bands, and I’ll probably go for nostalgia. They just don’t ‘excite’ me live, as much as some other bands do.

HEAVY!

Young drummer wasnt even born when the band was formed!
