Buckingham played 3 of the 4 after Christmas and Thornton played 2.
Buckingham is a better bowler than Thornton IMO and in the end it was a tight choice.
Pope was the one who I felt was unlucky but the rules for the final probably cost him aswell as his batting

Talk is he will be coaching the Melbourne premier grade club from next season.
Incredibly disappointing from CricAus/Vic to keep sending him up all this time.

Thought Iād tune in for the opening few overs of the IPL before calling it a night, and just saw Starc get hit for 30 runs in an over by Phil Salt (mainly)!
