I’m pretty sure when Lab was making a shitload of runs early in the first half of his career, Smith was as well. Smith’s only down time was the start of career and last 18 months. Same as Lab’s downtime.

They are whinging about Indias concussion sub in the 4th game so have claimed the series morally.

In the Poms defence, that substitution has got all kinds of smells about it.
India replaced a batting allrounder who just so happened to start developing concussion symptoms during the innings break after he pumped 50 in their batting innings, with a specialist bowler who took 3/30…
They basically just turned it into an IPL game with a super sub.
And sure enough, Dube played the very next game.
India have priors for this stuff but unfortunately though they aren’t the only ones who’ve shown a propensity to manipulate the concussion sub rules to their advantage and it’ll continue that way as long as their is an opportunity to do so.

It’s probably on the match referee Javagal Srinath who ticked it off.
They put the name forward to the match referee and he bottled it. Didn’t want to say no to India.

Interesting times when Lattif is in the Federal Court over unfair dismissal from the ABC. It seems a bit strange when Lalor is retweeting factual events. I wonder if Lalor retweeted stuff from the other side if we would come up with the same result.

While I do not agree with Lalor’s position on what he posted as it was biased articles, at the end of the day he wasn’t posting abusive or attacking material, he was posting news articles. He should not be fired for that.
I suspect Hutchison would not really care but he is seeing his company lose lots of money, so maybe a financial backer has requested this.
