The rotation of players sort of suggests that we’re treating these games purely as practice matches and aren’t too concerned about the results.

I understand that point of view.
I don’t think Australia shares it.
They’re always going to try to win out on the field, but they probably have things they want to do in this series that aren’t about this series.
