Unlikely I’d reckon. We still have Maxwell and Smith to come into the team. Travis Head going out might shuffle him up a little bit in the pecking order though.
I see that we have picked Matt Short as Head’s replacement for our next series against India in the lead up to the WC. I like that a lot. Short is a heck of a talent IMO.
On form I’d say Inglis is a chance to replace Carey.
On difficulty level to get dropped, I’d say no chance, though.

Agar’s ‘soreness’ and then now his paternity leave is not ideal timing at all. He’s going to be coming into the WC having hardly played any cricket. I imagine the selectors would have had in their mind to play both Zampa and Agar over in the subcontinent, albeit wicket depending.
And if you didn’t play Agar, the guy who would likely have bowled plenty of overs to complement Zampa would have been Travis Head 
Hopefully Maxwell is right to go.
Things were going great, but we need to break this middle order partnership now…
